Rubus moluccanus (Molucca Raspberry) is a bramble that offers considerable promise as a cultivated bush and medicine food. More closely related to the European raspberry than any other native raspberry, Molucca Raspberry, native to the east coast of Australia, can grow to a height of 10 metres in the wild making it an ideal barrier hedge for large properties. It can also be grown in a large pot. Molucca Raspberry can be grown in either full sun or light shade. Molucca Raspberry has the highest yield of any Australian rapberry. The fruit ranges from sweet to tangy being redder in appearance than European raspberries.
