Ficinia nodosa (Knobby Club-Rush) is a clumoing plant that can reach a height of 1.5 metres but is usually less than 1 metre in height. Its reeds can be used to steam fish to infuse its scent. Knobby Club-Rush is used to great effect around water features, as garden edging and as modern feature plant. Place it in a location where the wind will bounce it around for that calming sound of nature in the breeze! Knobby Club-rush also does very well in pots and copes with shade as well as full sun making it an plant for indoors. Drought tolerant, Knobby Club-Rush can be mass planted for the grassand effect or used to increase fauna biodiversity as lizards and water birds love to take shelter amongst it.
